From our beginnings in 1982 as a club band in Rhode Island, our friends (aka 'fans') have helped us evolve into a touring concert ensemble performing throughout New England and beyond for truly remarkable and appreciative audiences.

Along the way we have shared countless great times and crystallized memories with the many people and guest artists who make Satinwood a reality.

Our Legendary Songs Series tm was created to honor individual artists whose great body of work has left an indelible mark on the American folk/rock scene, while raising funds for worthwhile organizations leading the fight against hunger and poverty (and other causes) in the tradition of Harry Chapin.  Hey Sponsors!!!
